Dr. Steve Ward was elected as the Board of Education President, and Mrs. Sherrye Tolbert was elected Vice President.
Looking ahead, AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative) was introduced as a new instructional focus beginning in the 2025–2026 academic year. This initiative will enhance hands-on, inquiry-based instruction in math and science across the district.
