Teaching and Learning

The Teaching and Learning Department of Trussville City Schools supports the academic and personal growth of all students by overseeing key areas that drive excellence in education. We manage K-12 Curriculum and Instruction, coordinate textbook adoption and curriculum resources, and lead all state and Advanced Placement (AP) assessments. Our department also includes Special Education and Gifted Services, as well as Student Services, which encompasses registration, enrollment, residency, safety, and discipline. Additionally, we facilitate certification processes for all teaching and administrative staff. Through these efforts, we are committed to ensuring a high-quality educational experience for every student.
