New Student Registration is open.

Who is Considered a New Student?

A new student is defined as any student who meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Has never been enrolled in Trussville City Schools.

  • Did not complete the previous school year in Trussville City Schools.

  • Is enrolling as a non-traditional student, including students who qualify under the Tim Tebow Act (e.g., home-schooled or private-schooled students participating in extracurricular activities).

Custody Enrollment Requirements

Trussville City Schools operates under Federal Court requirements regarding student custody and enrollment. If your child’s living situation involves custody arrangements, you must provide official legal documentation at the time of enrollment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Court-ordered custody agreements

  • Court-ordered guardianship papers
